Policy Statement as per art. 13 of the Privacy Code drawn up in accordance with the Provision of the Authority for the protection of personal data of 08.05.2014

What are cookies?

Cookies are strings of small text that websites visited by the user send to your terminal, where they are stored and then transmitted to the websites the next time the same user visits them.

For the purposes of interest here, cookies are divided into technical and profiling, depending on the function for which they are used, and first-party cookies and third-party cookies, depending on the subject who installs them.

TECHNICAL COOKIE
Technical cookies are only used to "transmit a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user" (see art. 122 paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code). They are divided into browsing or session cookies and are used to ensure normal browsing and use of the website.

Linked to technical cookies are also so-called cookie analytics (as used directly by the website administrator to collect information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the website) and function cookies (which allow the user to browse the website based on a selected set of criteria, such as language, in order to improve the service provided).

Installation and use of technical cookies do not require prior consent by the user.

PROFILING COOKIE
Profiling cookies are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user when browsing the internet. Use of profiling cookies requires the consent of the user.

THIRD-PARTY COOKIE
Taking into account the different subject that installs the cookies on the user's terminal, depending on whether it is the administrator of the website that you are visiting, or a different website that installs cookies through the first, we distinguish between first-party cookies and third-party cookies.
